Aussie Blogs

I often get emails asking if I know of other Aussie blogs. I know how hard it can be to find them - when I started my blog, I couldn't really find any other Aussies at all! I called my blog Down Under Teacher in the hope that I would connect with other Aussies. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against U.S. or Canadian or any other blog, it's just always nice to find activities related to the  events and season we are experiencing (I'm sure I've forgotten all of the wonderful back-to-school ideas that overseas bloggers posted about because we were halfway through the school year!).

Well, I'm pleased to say that there are a lot more of us Aussies blogging now! I'm starting to add their buttons to this page as I find them, so hopefully the list will continue to grow. 

First up, is one of my real life friends, Liz from Bayside Math Teacher. She is a totally awesome high school math teacher and sushi maker.

Also, a lot of Aussie teachers add their materials to Teacher's Marketplace - it's just like TpT but for Aussies. You might be familiar with Katie Hoffman (Imaginative Teacher) who founded it.
